Kim Martinez

 Founder and Director Kim Martinez is a certified early childhood and elementary teacher with 30+ years experience in education. A mother of three and passionate about dual language education, she founded the highly successful Conmigo Spanish Program in 2005. Kim and her family spend summers in Mexico, immersing themselves in the rich Mexican culture, food, and language. She brings to Conmigo creativity, enthusiasm for all things Latin, attention to detail, and an amazing ability to multi-task. 

Yosmary Pastran

Ms. Yosmary comes with a wealth of experience working with children of all ages, both in her home country of Venezuela as well as here in the Houston area. Yosmary has an Associate degree in Pre School Education from Instituto Universitario AVEPANE, Caracas, Venezuela. Her teaching style is energetic and engaging and we are thrilled she is part of the Conmigo team.  She is the proud mother of two and and in her free time, enjoys the beach and creating photo memory books. Ms. Yosmary teaches Bebé y Yo, Spanish with Me, Spanish with Friends and this summer will be the Lead Games teacher during Camp #1.

pamela merhan  

Ms. Pamela was born in Houston, but her heart and family are all from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Growing up, she lived in Venezuela and Argentina where she learned to speak Spanish as her first language. Pamela completed her studies in Houston, receiving a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a masters degree in Social Work. She worked as a child psychotherapist for over six years, and now enjoys caring for her son, Lucas and daughter Alexandra. Pamela has been with Conmigo since 2013 in various roles. She is currently teaching the Friday Spanish with Friends class and this summer will be in the Lead Cooking teacher during Camp #1.

Sheila ramirez

Ms. Sheila is originally from the coastal city of Villahermosa, Tabasco, Mexico and moved to Houston in 2017. She is married to a Louisiana native, and together, they are raising their two young daughters in a bilingual home. Sheila enjoys sharing her culture with the children and their grown-ups in the Spanish with Me classes and this summer will be the Lead Science teacher during Camp #1. In her free time, she enjoys spending time at the beach with her family, working out and learning to cook new dishes. 

Silvia Browne

Ms. Silvia is passionate, energetic and caring. She is a native Spanish speaker and fluent in English. Born and raised in Colombia, Silvia moved to Houston six years ago. After graduating from college with a degree in Finance and working at a corporate job she found her real passion in working with kids and teaching them Spanish through songs, games and fun activities. In addition to working with Conmigo Spanish, Silvia also is an afternoon nanny. In her spare time Silvia enjoys dancing to Latin rhythms, practicing yoga, and traveling around the world with her husband Austin.

Madame Catherine

Ms. Catherine grew up in Belgium, speaking French at home and Flemish at school. She also learned English, German, Greek and Latin along the way. After moving to the United States, she began teaching French, which she has done at all levels for the past 25 years. She loves using simple and fun activities to share her love of French with her students and her own grandchildren.
